Charts have been composed since 2005. There is no such thing as an exact number. Just look at a number and see what the FBI came up with. They are the extrerme example. You will notice variances between the police and media records. Many times the news media fails to adjust their number to match the police at year-end.

In the list of cities, M% is the minority total. The odd colored cities are the ones with the most minorities as the majority population. Only Negroes and Spaniards are counted as minorities. Facts show that these races commit the most crime and murders. The odd color lets them be tracked/seen easier.

YTD is year-to-date and /100k is the rate per 100,000 population.The date is the date of the last entry which is usually the date of the last murder.
